Islamic media should confront west

The Islamic media should confront the Western propaganda against Muslims reflected in their media, a British Muslim journalist says.

Ahmed A Malik, a British Muslim journalist, said western media, including British media, are controlled by the Zionists and their news targeting Muslims are biased.

Talking to IRNA News Agency on the sidelines of the 17th International Festival and Fair of Press and News Agencies, the Editor-in-Chief of the UK-based weekly The Muslim Weekly, Malik said, “…They attack Muslims; they label us as terrorists and they harass us in many ways.”

He went on to say that the idea of holding such an exhibition would help Iran present the country’s true image, which the western countries have tried to distort.

Malik added that Iran is capable of uniting the world.
