Islamic Republic of Iran Intelligence Ministry has shut down a number of US and UK based so-called Shia channels trying to create sectarian rifts among Muslims and causing division in the Muslim World by regularly promoting hatred against Sunnis.
The large-scale operation that took place in the provinces of Qom, Isfahan, Tehran and Khorasan Razavi resulted in the arrest of a number of individuals running the channels’ offices in Iran.
