Islamic Republic of Iran intelligence nabs secret BBC agents

Several agents of an illegal network which was busy collecting intelligence for the British spy agencies under the cover of media work for the BBC were arrested by the Iranian Intelligence, a statement by the Ministry of Intelligence said Tuesday.

The network had been receiving large sums of money in return for its underground mission, the statement added.

The ministry said arrests will continue with investigations having been led to more tips of the illegal, underground network.
