‘Islamic revolts herald bright outlook’

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the recent Islamic uprisings in the Muslim world are prelude to a greater development and the rule of Islam in the region

The recent Islamic moves in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Bahrain and Yemen were “divine blessings,” said The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a meeting with international religious elites and intellectuals as well as Iran’s cultural representatives in various foreign countries at the Iranian holy City of Mashhad on Tuesday.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei expressed his optimism that the ongoing Islamic movements will totally end the dominance of major enemies of Islam, particularly Zionists (the Israeli regime) and the US.

The Supreme Leader emphasized that the youth in Muslim countries have shunned materialistic schools of thought and become cognizant of Islamic teachings, reiterating that such honor has been achieved thanks to the Islamic revolution by the Iranian nation.

The Supreme Leader cautioned against persisting threats posed against Muslim countries, including intensifying efforts to sow discord among followers of Shia and Sunni schools of thought, with global political motives.

In line with their Islamophobia policies, the global arrogance is pursuing a policy of Shiaphobia, said the Leader, insisting on the significance of exercising vigilance against such ploys.

The recent developments in the Muslim world herald a bright future, and indications of such dazzling prospective have already emerged, the Supreme Leader concluded.
