‘Israel’ in Appalling Security Conditions: IRGC General

The Zionist regime is unable to stand against the Islamic Republic, only resorts to saber-rattling, and is experiencing the worst security conditions across the territories it has occupied, the spokesperson for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said.

In comments at a press conference in Zanjan on Saturday, General Ramezan Sharif said the Zionist regime is in the worst security conditions and under intense pressures.

Pointing to the security challenges that have plagued the Israeli regime since March, the spokesman said the Zionists pretend that security prevails across 27,000 square kilometers of lands under their control.

“The Israelis are extremely vulnerable and live in fear all the time. They repeat saying that they have the Iron Dome (air defense system) or cyber (defense systems), which reveals their weakness,” he added.

Deriding the Israeli claim that the armies of Arab countries cannot defeat the Zionist regime’s army, General Sharif said everybody witnessed how Israel was beaten by Hezbollah in the 33-Day War.

The general went on to say that the Israeli moves could not affect the Islamic Republic by any means, since the Zionists are unable to confront Iran.

In comments in December 2021, President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi cautioned the enemies that any bellicose move will draw such a decisive response from the Iranian military forces that it will bring about a significant change in strategic equations.

In April this year, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri said all Iranian military forces are ready to give a decisive and crushing response to any threat at any level in such a way that the enemies of Iran would regret taking hostile action against the Islamic establishment.
