An Israeli settler group has made a video depicting the European Union’s ambassador to Israel as a cannibal and serial killer for providing housing aid to Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
The group entitled “Jerusalem Periphery Forum,” posted the video on its Facebook page on Sunday, accusing Ambassador Lars Faaborg-Andersen of undermining Israel’s “sovereignty.”
The video shows the ambassador as the psychopathic cannibal from the film “the Silence of the Lambs,” wearing the mask made famous by Hannibal Lecter.
It calls for an end to the EU’s housing assistance to Palestinian and Bedouin encampments along Highway 1, which passes through the occupied West Bank.
