Israeli Air Raids on Gaza Result in Death of Palestinian and Injuries of Several Others
At least 13 people, including three members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, have been killed and several others injured in Israeli air raids against targets in the Gaza Strip, one day after the regime carried out a series of strikes in the enclave. Among them was at least one Palestinian.

On Wednesday noon, Israeli warplanes targeted locations in Abasan al-Kabira, al-Qarara, and east of Rafah in the Khan Yunis province in the southern Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian media outlets.
The victims and injured Palestinians have been taken to various hospitals.
The Israeli military declared in a proclamation that air strikes were conducted against multiple targets owned by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization in the Gaza Strip.
The statement also asserted that the structures were providing refuge to members of the organization, who were supposedly readying themselves to fire off retaliatory missiles.
On Wednesday, Israeli forces killed two young Palestinian males during a raid in Qabatiya, a city located in the West Bank that is under Israel’s control.
In the early hours of Wednesday, the Israeli military conducted a raid on the town of Qabatiya, located 3.7 miles (6 kilometers) south of Jenin. This raid was sparked by two gunmen who allegedly opened fire at Israeli troops from a passing vehicle.
According to Wafa, Palestine’s official news agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health named the victims as Ahmad Jamal Assaf, 19, and Warani Walid Qatanat, 24.
In a statement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the “heinous crime” committed by the occupying Tel Aviv regime against the Gaza Strip, calling it a blatant violation of international law and humanitarian principles.
Israel is fully accountable for the consequences of its crimes, aggression and terrorism, which have the potential to endanger the safety and stability of the region.
The organization implored the global community to take up its duties, extend international protection to Palestinians, and make Israel answerable for its wrongdoings against Palestinians, their territories, and their religious places.
