Israeli airstrike in Syria’s Dara’a killed 7 people

In a recent escalation of hostilities, Israeli military forces conducted an assault on a residential area in Syria's southwestern Dara’a province, resulting in the deaths of at least seven individuals and leaving multiple others injured. This incident marks the latest aggressive action directed at the Arab nation in the aftermath of the collapse of President Bashar al-Assad's regime.

Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen television, a pan-Arab news outlet, has reported that the fatalities occurred on Tuesday when Israeli forces launched shelling on the village of Kuwaya, situated to the west of Dara’a’s provincial capital.

Reports have emerged indicating that Israeli ground troops are active in the region.

According to local media reports, the recent assault has instigated a widespread sense of fear and panic throughout the village.

Omar al-Hariri, an independent journalist operating out of Dara’a, has refuted claims made by the Israeli military regarding alleged attacks on regime forces in southern Syria, stating that no such incidents occurred and the regime forces did not return fire.

In a recent social media post, a user claimed that Israeli forces allegedly commenced hostilities by trying to detain youths from Kuwaya, who reportedly opposed the military patrol’s actions.

According to the journalist, the Israeli military has issued an immediate evacuation order for all residents of the village.
