An Israeli airstrike targeting the northern Gaza Strip has resulted in the deaths of at least nine Palestinians, including three journalists, according to medical sources.

According to medical sources, an Israeli airstrike targeted the northern region of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least nine Palestinians, among them three local journalists.
An airstrike targeted a vehicle in the northern town of Beit Lahiya on Saturday, according to reports.
Medical officials reported that numerous individuals sustained critical injuries, with casualties present both within and outside the vehicle.
“Nine individuals, among them several journalists and workers from the Al-Khair Charitable Organisation, have been hospitalized after an incident in Beit Lahia. According to civil defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal, a drone strike targeted their vehicle, coinciding with artillery shelling in the area.”
Eyewitnesses and reporters at the scene have confirmed that the occupants of the vehicle were undertaking a mission on behalf of a charitable organization in the area. They were in the company of journalists and photographers when the strike occurred. In related developments, senior representatives from Hamas engaged in discussions with Islamic Jihad Movement leaders in Doha, focusing on the implementation of a ceasefire in Gaza.
In the midst of ongoing talks in Cairo, Egypt, Hamas’ exiled leader Khalil Al-Hayya is engaged in negotiations with mediators regarding a ceasefire for Gaza.
Despite the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on January 19, violations have reportedly been frequent, attributed to Israeli forces. Palestinian health authorities have reported that these infractions have resulted in the fatalities of numerous individuals, underscoring the fragility of the current truce.
