Israeli forces have seized control of two towns in the southwestern Syrian province of Quneitra, located near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, and are advancing toward the neighboring Dara’a province. This maneuver follows the recent takeover of the region by militant groups.

Israeli military forces have taken control of the towns of Madinat al-Baath and Hader following an incursion into the buffer zone within the Quneitra area. This advancement was accompanied by artillery bombardment in the strategically significant region.
Israeli media sources report that the offensive was initiated after intense shelling targeted the neighboring regions.
Israeli military forces are advancing towards regions in Dara’a, approximately 90 kilometers (56 miles) south of Syria’s capital, Damascus.
Israeli forces earlier seized control of a Syrian military outpost located at the summit of Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights.
According to a report by Kan TV News, elite soldiers from Shaldag, the commando unit of the Israeli Air Force, successfully seized control of the outpost without facing any opposition.
According to reports, Major General Ori Gordin, head of the Israeli military’s Northern Command, alongside Major General David Zini, commander of the Training Command, attended the summit.
Reports indicate that the Syrian army has withdrawn from its position as the government of President Bashar al-Assad faces a significant collapse.
According to reports from Israeli media, regime tanks have advanced into Khan Arnabeh, a location situated northeast of Quneitra, approximately five kilometers from the border of the occupied Golan Heights.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday that the longstanding agreement with Syria has collapsed. He has subsequently directed Israeli forces to seize control of a buffer zone in the Golan Heights, following the withdrawal of Syrian troops from the area.
