Israeli War Minister Commands “Intense Strikes” on Iran Following Regime’s Standdown on Hostile Actions

Israel’s Minister of Military Affairs, Israel Katz, has announced the initiation of “intense strikes” targeting Iran, following a 12-day cessation of hostilities.
In the wake of an agreement to halt hostility towards Iran, reached with Trump, Katz announced on Tuesday morning that he had directed the Israeli military to deliver a “forceful response” to what he alleged was Iran’s breach of the ceasefire, by striking targets located in Tehran, the Iranian capital.
Reports from Iranian sources have refuted allegations that Iran violated the ceasefire agreement.
In a series of retaliatory actions, the Iranian armed forces launched nearly a dozen missiles aimed at multiple targets within the occupied territories. This military response occurred shortly before the announced halt of Israeli aggression, as declared by Trump.
The retaliatory strikes were launched following intense overnight Israeli assaults on Iran, with Tehran bearing the brunt of the aggression as numerous civilian areas were reportedly targeted.
The Israeli government has reportedly called for an end to hostilities, agreeing to cease its aggressive actions towards Iran.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that no ceasefire agreement currently exists with Tel Aviv. However, he indicated that Tehran would suspend its retaliatory actions if the Israeli regime ceases its unlawful aggression against the Iranian population.
He expressed gratitude towards the nation’s military for delivering retribution against the regime. Meanwhile, the IRGC commander issued a cautionary message to the United States, promising a ‘historic lesson’ should there be any recurrence of aggressive actions.
On June 13, Israel carried out a forceful operation against Iran, resulting in the deaths of military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
On June 22, the United States collaborated with Israel in an offensive, targeting three Iranian nuclear facilities. This action has been widely condemned as a serious breach of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
The Iranian military has vowed to “open the gates of hell” against Israel, initiating a series of retaliatory missile and drone attacks targeting strategic locations within the occupied territories.
The following day, Iran fired a barrage of missiles targeting al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which is recognized as the most extensive American military facility in the West Asian region.
In an announcement after the successful execution of Operation ‘Tidings of Victory’, Iran’s military declared that the action was a direct response to what was described as the “blatant military aggression by the criminal regime of the United States” targeting the Islamic Republic’s nuclear sites.
This installation functions as the main hub for the US Air Force Command, standing as the most critical strategic asset for the American military presence in the West Asian region.
