ISIL Military Column Destroyed in Syrian Airstrikes East of Homs Province

“The long convoy of ISIL vehicles came under the heavy bombardments of the Syrian warplanes in the Northwestern side of the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur),” the sources said, adding, “Most of the vehicles sustained serious damage and several guards of the convoy were killed in the attacks.”
“The Syrian air fleet, in the meantime, targeted the ISIL gatherings and positions near al-Sha’er oilfield, which ended in the killing or wounding of several terrorists,” they said.
In relevant developments in the province on Friday, the Syrian army and popular forces continued their advances in the Northern part of al-Sha’er gas field by capturing four new areas.
The seizing back of the new areas comes just one day after other army units and popular forces took full control of Oil Well 102 in al-Sha’er region.
Score of Takfiri terrorists were killed and wounded in heavy clashes with the Syrian army near al-Sha’er gas field on Friday.
