PM Haneyya: Israel’s Judaization schemes in Qods are desperate attempts

images_News_2013_06_01_haneyya-0_300_0Palestinian Premier Ismail Haneyya said that Israel’s plans to remove the holy city from its Arab and Islamic surrounding are desperate attempts to prove its Talmudic claims about occupied Qods and the Aqsa Mosque.

In his Friday khutba (sermon), Haneyya stated that the Israeli occupation had changed many Islamic landmarks in Qods and encroached onto the Palestinian territories, exploiting years of peace talks with the Palestinian Authority.

He added that the only winner of 20 years of peace negotiations is the Israeli occupation.
“We are commemorating the Isra and Miraj anniversary as Jerusalem is being exposed to the most dangerous Judaization attacks since it was occupied by the Zionists,” the premier said.

“The Isra and Miraj anniversary has come as the schemes to liquidate the Palestinian cause are still ongoing, the latest of these was Kerry’s economic peace plan. They want our people to sell their rights and constants in exchange for a loaf of bread and a life under occupation,” Haneyya stressed.

“They want our people to forget the sacrifices, the prisoners, and the blood that was shed and accept the so-called economic peace and their corrupt political money,” he added.

In a related context, political advisor to the Palestinian premier Haneyya warned against the secret negotiations between the PA and the Israeli occupation.

“The absolute secrecy maintained by the PA about the negotiations it is conducting with the occupation may surprise us with serious concessions to be made to the occupation on the Palestinian rights and constants,” Rizqa told Rai news agency on Thursday.

The advisor ruled out that US secretary of state John Kerry could pressure Israel to withdraw from the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967, expressing his belief that Kerry’s talk about the need for the Palestinian and Israeli sides to take tough decisions indicates that the Palestinian side would make concessions.
