Syrian Army discovers weapon caches in liberated north Homs

Large quantities of weapons and ammunitions were found hidden in several areas in the recently-liberated north Homs pocket as the government security forces continue wide-scale mop-up operations.

The caches, found in an area located between Teir Maalah and Dart Kabeera towns, include mortar shells an launchers, hell canons, homegrown rockets, MLRs launchers, gas masks as well as ammunition of various types.

Rebel fighters in north Homs accepted an evacuation deal to the country’s north after handing over their weapons. The Syrian government officially took over the entire area as hundreds of militants chose to settle their status and remain in their towns and villages.
