Jihadist civil war in Idlib, Hama racks up over 440 dead terrorists

The jihadist civil war taking place along the Idlib-Hama axis has racked up a whopping 440 dead terrorists in the last 60 days, the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) alleged on Friday.

The jihadist civil war began in October, when the so-called Islamic State (IS) launched an attack against the Al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham rebel group inside the northeastern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

As a result of the Islamic State’s offensive, the terrorist group has now entered the Idlib Governorate and captured several towns inside this province in northern Syria.

Making matters worse for the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, they find themselves under a heavy attack from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) near the strategic town of Al-Rahjan.

With the pressure mounting, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham may not hold onto Al-Rahjan for much longer, as the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces redeploy their troops to the northeastern countryside of Hama.
