Jordan destroys 2 Syrian border posts

The Jordanian army has destroyed two Syrian border outposts by tank shelling after clashes broke out between the two sides.

According to Press TV, clashes erupted late Friday in the Tel Shihab-Turra area, about 50 miles north of the Jordanian capital Amman.
Jordanian officials say reports of any casualties have not been released.
Meanwhile, France has deployed troops to the Syrian border with Jordan. The French government announced that its soldiers had been deployed to the border area.
