Judiciary chief: Feb 10 rallies demonstrated popularity of Islamic Revolution

Judiciary chief Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani said on Wednesday that turnout on February 10 marking victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution proved popularity of the Islamic Revolution and people’s firm determination to defend it.

Addressing the judiciary senior officials, he said people from all walks of life rushed to street to indicate that they are determined to back the Islamic revolution while burdening heavy pressures due to the economic sanctions.

Rallies of Iranian people on Feb 10 marking 34th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution was sign of dignity and pride for Iranian nation, he said.

34 years after triumph of the Islamic Revolution and international pressures did not stop Iranian nation to create another epic, he said, adding that such a sentiment should be studied.

This is a big question for the western governments that Iranian people who are suffering from international sanctions have strongly stood against various plots and are still committed to their pledges in backing the Islamic revolution.

Supreme Islamic Jurisprudent plays leading role in forging unity among Iranian people, he said.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei advised officials not to disclose their differences before nation; he said adding that the Iranian revolutionary people well understand all issues.
