Judiciary Spokesman Calls on Muslim States to Prosecute Insulters to Islam

Iran’s Judiciary Spokesman and Prosecutor-General Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejeii called on Islamic states to file a lawsuit against those behind the recent sacrilegious movie against Islam’s Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

“We hope that all the Judicial bodies of Islamic states file a complaint against this heinous act which is unfortunately being repeated,” Ejeii noted.

The official said that the Human Rights center of the Iranian judiciary is already working on this case to prosecute those responsible for the recent insult to Islam’s Prophet (PBUH).

Outrage is growing across the Muslim world over the five-million-US dollar movie that was financed by more than 100 Jews.

The film called “Innocence of Muslims”, previously called Desert Warriors and Innocence of Bin Laden, is a 2012 anti-Muslim film about Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The film was being promoted by a Florida pastor, Terry Jones, known for previous Quran-burning stunts that angered Muslims in various countries.

The anti-Islam film has drawn condemnation from numerous countries including Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Iran, Yemen, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Morocco, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc.

In Iran, millions of Iranians in Tehran and other cities across the country held nationwide rallies in protest against the recent desecration of Islam.

The Iranian protesters chanted “Death to the US” and “Death to Israel” slogans, expressing disgust at the US and the Zionist regime’s anti-Islam policies.
