Pro-Palestinian protest in Barcelona turns tense with police

Pro-Palestinian protesters stormed Barcelona Franca station during a rally in the Catalan city on Saturday night. 

Riot police forced the gates to the city’s major station closed, while protesters pushed back and tried to enter. Police officers used shields and batons against the protesters. Earlier during the rally, protesters stood inside the station holding Palestinian flags and banners reading “Genocide” and chanting “Palestine! Freedom!”
