Syria: Al-Nusra Continues Vast Withdrawal of Forces from Northern Hama

The sources reported that the army soldiers continued their clashes with Al-Nusra terrorists and took back al-Masaseneh settlement, killing or wounding tens of terrorists.

In the meantime, the Syrian army aircraft bombed heavily Al-Nusra’s defense lines in the towns of Kafr Zita, al-Latamina and in al-Masaseneh, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

Reports said earlier today that the army forces struck again Al-Nusra’s positions in Northern Hama and captured al-Zalaqiyat region after hours of non-stop battle, killing and wounding a number of militants.

A military source said al-Zalaqiyat region was home to the terrorists’ artillery and mortar units to target the army position, underlining the importance of the victory for the pro-government forces.

The source further added that the army will continue its operation in the triangle of al-Latamina-Kafr Zita- Morek to restore full security to the Northern territories of Hama.
