Khazaee: Waves of Islamic awakening in Mideast will spread to Europe

Iran’s permanent representative to United Nations, Mohammad Khazaee said late Sunday that the waves of Islamic awakening in the Middle East will spread to Europe very soon.

Khazaee made the remarks in a ceremony marking the 22nd anniversary of departure of founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini in presence of large number of Iranians and foreign Muslims residing in New York.

‘Although the demands of people in the Middle East may be different from what Iranians demanded in the runup to the Islamic Revolution in 1979, the role of Islamic Revolution of Iran in awakening the nations are very tangible,’ he said.
