Syrians Holding Arms, Two Bombs Arrested in Arsal

The Lebanese army stopped a Kia-type silver car on Sunday trying to enter Lebanon through the Hamid valley in the region of Arsal in eastern Lebanon, carrying four Syrians, including one woman, Al-Manar TV correspondent reported.

The reporter stated that individual weapons, hand grenades and two small explosive devices have been found inside the car, in addition to a variety of military equipment, amount of Syrian and Saudi currencies.
All the four were arrested and investigations initiated to know their point.

Also in Arsal, the army had stopped on Saturday night 3 Syrians in possession of light weapons and communication devices. They were crossing the Lebanese border from Arsal through the Eastern Lebanon Mountain Range towards the Syrian town of Qara, according to the state-run National News Agency.
