Terrorists fall apart as Syrian Army troops advance in southern Idlib – map

Terrorists of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham suffered several setbacks along the Hama-Idlib axis, Saturday, as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) scored a large advance at the provincial border.

Led by the 4th Division and Qalamoun Shield forces, the Syrian Arab Army began the day by capturing the town of Balil, which is located inside the Idlib Governorate.

Following the capture of Balil, the Syrian Army advanced to the nearby town of Um Khuzam, seizing it shortly after expelling the Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham militants to nearby Umm Turaykiyah.

The Syrian Army is now attacking Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions at Umm Turaykiyah in a bid to establish a foothold inside the Idlib Governorate.

According to a military source in Hama, the Syrian Army killed more than 20 jihadist rebels during today’s attack, including several members of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza.

With the Tiger Forces preparing to kickoff their offensive in northeast Hama, 2018 does not look any better for the jihadist rebels in this region of Syria.
