Leader hails apt Iranian universities

Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Opressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei has called for greater interaction between students and the clerics present in universities.

Imam Ali Khamenei described the close interaction of clerics and students as “one of the great gifts of the Islamic Revolution.”

The importance of this issue is visible in the negative propaganda and the great concern of some who oppose the presence of clergy in universities, the Leader said.

Addressing the representatives of the Leader’s office in universities, Imam Ali Khamenei said, “If you are not familiar with the language of students, there will be no way to establish mental relations with them.”

Imam Ali Khamenei described the current situation in Iranian universities as “suitable and apt” for development and called for greater attention to “spiritual values” in educational centers.
