Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei receives Iranian youths

Teenagers and young adults from Tehran and Alborz Provinces, planning to go on ‘Travelers to the Light’ camp, met with the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei on Saturday.

The trip to the Iran-Iraq border areas in the south and southwestern Iran is conducted each year in commemoration of those martyred during the 1980-88 Iran–Iraq War.

Rahian-e Noor (Travelers to the Light) which was established by the student branch of the Basij in 1997, normally takes place during summer vacation and Noruz, the Iranian New Year vacation.

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei visited the Iranian war zone in 1999 and 2002 to support the movement.
