Leader of the Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the main objective of producing weapons in Iran is defending the country against bullying enemies.

“The main reason for producing weapons in the Islamic Republic is a defensive objective and countering bullying enemies,” Leader of the Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei said in his visit to an exhibition of Armed Forces’ research achievements on Wednesday.

“In the West, the main reason for weapons production is trade and increasing the wealth of the owners of weapons factories and companies.”

The Supreme Leader praised the achievements of Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces in the field of defense.

“The work of research centers must complement one another in order to prevent parallel work and wasting human and material resources,” Leader of the Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei said.

The Leader added that the efforts of the Armed Forces would render sanctions imposed against Iran by the West ineffective.
