The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Opressed People says Iran’s Foreign Ministry is in charge of leading all matters related to the country’s foreign policies and affairs.
Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Cabinet on Monday on the occasion of Government Week.
Imam Khamenei advised the Cabinet to refrain from conducting parallel tasks in various fields, including foreign policy.
The Leader also reiterated that ministers should be trusted within the framework of their authorities and duties.
Imam Khamenei appreciated the government’s diplomatic activities and said “the diplomatic spirit, orientation and content” were of great significance in the establishment of the Islamic Republic.
