Evidence: “Israeli” Desecration of Muslim Cemetery Continues

The Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) documented the continued “Israeli” desecration of an ancient Muslim cemetery; the Mamilla Cemetery, in the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem), to construct the “Museum of Tolerance”. This comes despite international condemnation, Human Rights Council resolutions, a public petition signed by nearly 10,000 individuals from around the world, a letter from 84 respected archeologists decrying the archaeological practices on the holy site.

Also, a resolution by the Central Conference of American Rabbis was issued in opposition of the Zionist project, as did numerous prominent “Israeli” scholars who had denounced the action earlier.
The new evidence, documented on video by the CCR, shows the continuing excavation on the “Museum of Tolerance” site, indicating that is still contains archaeological artifacts and Muslim Human remains, contrary to claims by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, which is responsible for the construction of the “Israeli” museum.

The CCR and other groups filed a petition on behalf of the Palestinian descendants of those buried in the cemetery, urging the “Israeli” enemy to “halt construction of the Museum of Tolerance by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, investigate human rights violations, rebury human remains, and declare the Mamilla Cemetery a protected antique site.”

A significant portion of the cemetery has been destroyed, in which hundreds of human remains are being desecrated so that the California-based Simon Wiesenthal Center can build a facility dubbed “Center for Human Dignity – Museum of Tolerance” on this sacred Muslim site.
