Leader warns of enmity towards Iran

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei has warned against enmities towards Iran, saying the enemy is becoming weaker than ever.

“Iran and the Iranian nation have been moving in a dangerous historical turn over the past 30 years. We have passed very dangerous spots but they are not over yet,” IRNA quoted the Leader as saying in a meeting with Basij youth on Wednesday.

There are still enmities towards the Iranian nation However, the enemy has become weaker and more frustrated than before, Imam Khamenei added.

The Leader also said certain individuals thought the Islamic Revolution has become old and announced its end while they had lost their power and could not persevere on their path.

“However, they made a comparison between themselves and our (Islamic) revolution,” he said.

Imam Khamenei reiterated that egocentricity and materialistic motivations led certain people to “stand against the Islamic Revolution.”
