Video- Fifth Intifada Conference ends in Tehran

This is the fifth consecutive year that Iran holds a conference in support of the Palestinian Intifada. The event is one of the few conferences where the Leader ofc and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the President, Parliament speaker and head of Iran’s judiciary attend together.

The conference was sponsored by the parliament of Iran and hosted prominent political figures and parliamentary delegations from the Middle East and Africa, as well as scholars and university professors from across the world. The final speaker of the session was Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He slammed the west for supporting Israel while the native Palestinians were living under siege.
President Ahmadinejad’s comments came at a time when a full United Nations recognition of Palestinian statehood has stirred many debates in the region. There are already fears that any such recognition would imply loosing Palestinian land and would violate the rights of Palestinians.

Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh who joined the conference via video link said that the Palestinians will not give an inch of their land to Zionist Israel.
On the first day of the conference the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei slammed a two state solution for Israel and Palestine. He added that any solution to the conflict must be based on a principle of “the whole Palestine for all Palestinians and that could only be reached through a referendum for the native Muslims, Jews and Christians of Palestine.
