The Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement, in a statement, strongly refuted media claims about growing differences between its forces and the Syrian army over fight against terrorism in Syria, and stressed the resistance front’s firm will to root out terrorism in the Middle East.

“Several internal and Arabic media have claimed in the recent day that there have been deep differences between the Hezbollah fighters and the Syrian army or other pro-government forces in Syria’s battlefields,” the statement said, adding, “We strongly deny such claims which are nothing but the unfruitful attempts of some foreign-backed media sources to wreak havoc on the united anti-terrorism front in Syria.”

“None of the Hezbollah bases or positions in Syria or Lebanon have been bombed by the Syrian Air Force,” the statement underscored.

Close cooperation between the Syrian army and Hezbollah in fight against Takfiri terrorists has been increasing in the last five years.

Reports said earlier today that the Syrian Army troops and Hezbollah fighters struck the positions of the terrorist groups in Eastern Ghouta, capturing more lands and inflicting a heavy death toll on the militants.

The Syrian pro-government forces struck the terrorists of Faylaq al-Rahman and broke through its defense lines near al-Mohammadiyeh and Jisreen and captured the strategic Arab Houses area after hours of heavy battle.

The terrorist group left behind several members dead and several more wounded and fled the battlefield.
