Libyan Army says 5 Turkish warships are positioned along Libyan coast

The Libyan National Army (LNA) spokesperson, Ahmad Al-Mismari, said in his weekly press conference, that “there were air flights between Turkey and the airports in Matija and Misrata, during which soldiers and mercenaries were transported,” and that they are “continuing until now.”

Mismari said that in addition to these flights, “there are five Turkish warships we have recorded off the coast of Libya.”

The LNA spokesperson accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of working for the intelligence services of other countries that he did not name, and that he (that is, Erdogan) was not working for the benefit of the Turkish people, stressing that he defied the international community’s desire to ceasefire in Libya.

He said that “our armed forces have trained for combat in the western Sirte region,” and that the “Libyan army is at the required level and is ready and ready to deal with any emergency.”

He continued: “The men of the armed forces believe that this battle is the battle of the homeland, getting rid of the infidels and ending the Turkish invasion.”

“The presence of Turkey in Libya not only threatens our country, but the entire regional region,” he said.

Regarding the Arab League’s decision on Tuesday, he said: “There are countries that have reservations about some points in the decision regarding the Libyan crisis, which confirms the penetration of Erdoganian thought in these countries.”
