Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces Major-General Hassan Firouzabadi on Saturday played down the threat of war and said that Iran’s deterrent defense power has removed the threat.

In a meeting with senior officers of the Armed Forces on the occasion of Nowruz ceremony, he said at the same time that Iranian defense forces are well-prepared to repulse any aggression.

Firouzabadi congratulated rank and file of the Army and their families and prayed to God for wellbeing of Iranian soldiers.

He said that policymakers of the defense forces are monitoring the conspiracies being hatched by the warmongers and their rhetorical statements.

Firouzabadi said that the Zionist regime had better listen to their boss and give up their illusive whispers. Otherwise, if they do any damn thing, Iranian armed forces will bulldoze the entire occupied lands and ruin the nest of the criminal Zionists.
