Hezbollah: Ceasefire Starts in Gaza, Not in Lebanon

Head of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance Parliamentary bloc Mohammad Raad said: “We have reached a stage where the enemy realizes our strength and is afraid to confront us in the battlefield.”

“We have exposed the Zionist entity and its scheme as we contributed to defaming it before the West,” MP Raad said during a mourning ceremony in the southern town of Jibsheet.

“The enemy fears us today as we confront the great conspiracy that aims at the liquidation of the central cause of our Ummah (nation), the Palestinian cause,” the Hezbollah MP said in remarks carried by Al-Manar.

“The enemy’s military is not a fighting army but rather a killer which sheds the blood of women and children as it destroys homes, schools and hospitals.”

Meanwhile, MP Raad lashed out at the Western countries, especially the United States over their unwavering support to the Zionist entity which has been committing a genocide in Gaza.

“Gaza will emerge victorious and the Israeli enemy will regret” the atrocities committed in Gaza.

“They (the Israeli enemy) can destroy the structures but they will never break the will of the resistance fighters.”

Resistance Shattered Israeli Dreams

For his part, Member of Loyalty to Resistance bloc MP Hussein Jishi stressed that the ceasefire starts in Gaza rather than it starts in Lebanon, in a clear message that the battle waged by Hezbollah is in support to the battle in Gaza.

In a mass funeral held in the border town of Blida for the Lebanese citizens who were martyred by an Israeli strike, MP Jishi recalled the heroic confrontations by the resistance in Lebanon against the Israeli enemy.

In this context, he wondered fi the Israeli enemy managed to wipe out the resistance.

“Throughout four decades, the resistance destroyed the Israelis’ pride and shattered their dreams.”

“The Israeli enemy today, is appealing for a ceasefire in Lebanon, via the tricky US mediator. And hereby, we say that the ceasefire is an inclusive issue that starts in Gaza rather than in Lebanon.”
