Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said that all options are open to the resistance and the people for the liberation of the prisoners from the occupation jails.

Haniyeh said during a meeting held by the Legislative Council in Gaza on the anniversary of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Day on Wednesday: “The prisoners’ issue is the biggest humanitarian issue in the world, and cannot be subject to seasonal work.”

He called for not dragging the issue of prisoners in the political calculations and compromises, adding: “This central issue is greater than to be compromised or subjected to negotiations.”

The Prime Minister hailed the steadfastness of captives, especially the hunger strikers, in the Israeli jails.

He also recalled the assassination of Palestinian leaders, and stressed that the Israeli policy of assassinations represents a war crime and proof of the occupation state’s terrorism.

Gaza Premier saluted the Palestinian people in the diaspora, especially in the Syrian refugee camps, calling on the Arab League to protect them.

He also denounced during his speech the continuation of political arrests in the West Bank.
