‘Mission accomplished’: Hezbollah launches multiple rockets and drones at ‘israeli’ targets
In response to Israel's assassination of a high-ranking military leader from their group last month, Hezbollah has launched numerous rockets and drones aimed at targets in the northern regions of the occupied Palestinian territories.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Hezbollah announced that it had carried out an operation early that morning “as part of the initial retaliation” for Israel’s killing of Fuad Shukr, a high-ranking military leader of the resistance group, in Beirut, Lebanon, on July 30.
“The military operation planned for today has been successfully concluded,” the statement read.
The statement indicated that drones and 320 Katyusha rockets were deployed against enemy locations, targeting sites such as Ramot Naftali barracks, Neveh Ziv, and Zaoura artillery positions, along with bases at Meron, Zaatoun, Sahel, and Ein Zeitim.
Other targets in the operation included Keila and the UAV barracks, as well as the Nafah and Yardena bases, all located in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
Hezbollah stated that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon is at peak readiness and will remain steadfast and watchful against any Zionist offenses or acts of aggression. They emphasized that any harm to civilians will result in severe and harsh consequences.
During the operation, sirens warning of missiles and drones sounded across several unauthorized settlements scattered throughout the northern regions of the territories.
Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv announced that morning flights would either be delayed or redirected due to the current circumstances.
Previously, the regime conducted numerous airstrikes on southern Lebanon, claiming the intention was to “preempt” a “major” retaliation from Hezbollah.
Reports indicate that bombing occurred in the Lebanese towns of Kfar Malaki, Beit Yahoun, al-Tayri, Wadi Salouqi, Deir Siryan, Ayn Qana, Tayr Harfa, Shama, Ain Qana, al-Louwaiza, Basaliyya, and Kounine.
Israeli warplanes also targeted several other locations, including the Kounine Forest, the region stretching from Zibqine to Yater, and the heights of al-Iqlim.
The regime’s military reported that Israeli warplanes launched an extensive bombing campaign in response to Hezbollah’s preparations for large-scale assaults on the occupied territories.
Since October 7, when the Israeli regime initiated a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, it has also been conducting frequent, sporadic attacks on southern Lebanon.
In its boldest offensive against the nation since the onset of the Gaza conflict, the regime eliminated Shukr, an aide to Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
In response to Israel’s actions against Lebanon and to show support for Palestinians in Gaza, Hezbollah has carried out multiple attacks on Israeli positions.
