Senior Iranian Parliamentarian Gholam Ali Haddad Adel blasted Washington for its long track record of hostilities against Tehran, and said the American officials cannot be trusted for talks.

Haddad Adel said that the United States cannot be trusted, specially at the time the on-going nuclear talks are approaching a decisive phase.

Since the 1953 coup, he added, the US has not stopped from hampering Iran in such cases as the 2009 post-elections riots and sponsoring anti-Iran sanction resolutions.

“While Israel has atomic bombs and warheads and does not abide by any international pact, it is under serious US protection,” the lawmaker said.

Haddad Adel also referred to the US support of Saudi-led military aggression against the impoverished Yemeni civilians as another dark spot in Washington’s record.

He criticized the US excessive demands in nuclear talks and said, “It is useless to negotiate with somebody whose doubts are endless.”

In relevant remarks in March, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi condemned the US dual-track policies and animosities towards Iran, and said Tehran cannot trust Washington.

Speaking in a ceremony held to celebrate appointment of the country’s new police chief, he noted that Iran has no trust in the US and will not trust it because it is not trustful.
