Militant Attacks in Egypt’s Sinai Kills 13

Militants fired rockets and set off a car bomb in Egypt’s North Sinai Thursday, killing at least 13 military personnel, in the deadliest assault on security forces in recent weeks, officials said.

The attacks, which also wounded 30 people, targeted the police headquarters of North Sinai in the provincial capital of El-Arish, a nearby military unit and a residential area housing army and police officers.
