Millions preparing to rally for Palestinian cause on Quds Day

Millions of people are preparing to mark the International Quds Day across the world by holding massive rallies in support of the Palestinian resistance against Israel.

On Wednesday, the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei urged enthusiastic participation in the Quds Day demonstrations, which are held annually on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei said a remarkable participation on Quds Day would give a crushing response to the enemies of Islam and Palestinians.

In August 1979, the late founder of the Islamic Republic Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini declared the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month, International Quds Day, a day of global solidarity with Palestine.

In Iran, people are also preparing to take to the streets across the country to commemorate the occasion and reiterate solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
