Morsi’s Decision in Framework of Egyptians’ Will: Iranian MP

The Iranian Member of Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said the Egyptian president’s decision to dismiss the remnants of the former regime is in the framework of the Egyptian people’s will.

Mohammad Kowsari told “Tasnim” news agency that Mohammad Morsi’s decision to dismiss the prosecutor general and the new orders of trial of Hosni Mubarak and other criminals is in the framework of the Egyptian people’s will.
Stressing heedfulness in making decisions, Kowsari reiterated: “If the Egyptian president does not make precise decisions, he would face with so many challenges emerging from the nation’s opposition.”
He added: By giving a reassuring speech to the nation, Morsi must end the conflict and prevent its further expansion.
Pointing to the plots made by Mubarak’s supporters aiming at fuelling the unrest in the country, he noted: “Hamas victory against the Zionist regime’s eight day aggression in Gaza has been one of the reasons of recent unrest in Egypt, because the remnants of Egypt’s former regime, support Zionists.”
The Iranian parliamentarian also described staging a military coup in Egypt as almost impossible and said: The Egyptians are still committed to their revolutionary goals.
