Morsi's Remarks not Hostility toward Iran
The Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that difference of views in politics is natural and must not be interpreted as hostility.
Ramin Mehmanparast, who was talking to reporters in a press conference in Foreign Ministry‘s Qom Province Office, expressed the official reaction to the remarks by Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and said that “if the media represent the events in a way contributing to the clashes between the countries in the region, the western side will be benefited the most.”

Mohammed Morsi, Egyptian President, had earlier said in a conference that the Persian Gulf security was the security of Egypt, and no power would threaten the countries in the region.

The Spokesman also believed that the remarks by Morsi has not been honestly and accurately represented by the media, since it had been reported by Western and Arabian media, with the record of hostility toward Iran, and they would seek specific intentions reporting such stuff.

“Difference of views between countries in the region is natural and no single country would have the same position on an international development. Cordial relations and common interests bring dialogue and solves the problems and differences,” he believed.

“Any difference in the political positions would not be interpreted as hostility,” he added.
