Sayyed Ibrahim as-Sayyed: Who Fights Iran Does Not Want Liberation of Palestine

amineHead of Hizbullah’s Political Council His Eminence Sayyed Ibrahim Amine as-Sayyed stated, “The tyrant of whom the Holy Quran spoke of in this era is the Zionist occupant of al-Quds and Palestine.”
On the occasion of Prophet Mohammad’s Birth (PBUH), Amine as-Sayyed reiterated, “As believers of this Quran, we must divide the world into those who advocate the Liberation of Palestine and those who support the occupation in Palestine and al-Quds.”

“Those who wish to liberate Palestine and al-Quds do not fight the Islamic Republic in Iran, and those who fight the Islamic Republic in Iran do not want to liberate Palestine,” Sayyed Amine as-Sayyed accentuated.
Furthermore, he pointed out, “The problem with Iran is the Iranian [influence] in Syria and the problem with Hizbullah is its stance towards Syria and that it is a part of the liberation of Palestine.”

“We are happy with the Arab revolutions and Islamic Awakenings. Strategically speaking, there is a victory to these revolutions on the national level,” His Eminence added.

“The question remains: did the conflict against “Israel” weaken or strengthen after these revolutions?” as-Sayyed questioned.
“We believe that these Arab revolutions hold hope in the future in liberating al-Quds and Palestine,” He further underlined.

Regarding the Syrian crisis, His Eminence as-Sayyed stressed, “One should not put us between two options: either we are with the regime or with the people. We impose another option: Who is with Syria and who is with the US and “Israel” in Syria?”

On another note, the Head of Hizbullah’s Political Council asked Palestinian factions about their friends, stating, “Which of your friends take you to liberation, and which of them take you to compromising?”

“Two matters must happen to achieve settlement and end the Palestinian and al-Quds cause:

First, the resisting Palestinians’ crisis must turn from an occupation crisis to a poverty one, then Arab’s would give al-Quds and Palestine to “Israel”; by that a settlement could be met.

Second, with all this commotion in what is described as secession in the Islamic and Arab nation, those who speak in Friday prayers stopped addressing the Palestinian cause and rather addressed sectarian secession. Hence, I tell them not to justify giving up al-Quds and Palestine, since those who want to create secession want to give Palestine to “Israel”,” His Eminence Sayyed Amine as-Sayyed deliberated.
