Pakistani media give wide coverage to Supreme Leader’s Noruz remarks

All most all major Pakistani newspapers on Wednesday gave wide coverage to the remarks of The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei that Iran would hit back at any attack by the United States or Israel.

Leading newspaper ‘Dawn’ quoted The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei as saying, “We have said that we do not have atomic weapons and we will not build any. But if there is any attack by the enemies, whether it would be United States or the Zionist regime, we will attack them back at the same level as they attack us.”

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, who was speaking in the northeastern city of Mash’had right after the beginning of gthe Iranian New Year 1391, said that Iran had a divine right to retaliate if struck.

“The Qur’an states that if an enemy attacks you first, the enemy will certainly be defeated,” he said.

Another major newspaper ‘The News’ reported that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamene’ie has warned in a speech broadcast live on state television: ‘We have said that we do not have atomic weapons and we will not build any.”

‘But if there is any attack by the enemies, whether it be United States or the Zionist regime [Israel], we will attack them at the same level as they attack us,’ said The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

Daily ‘The Nation’ reported that Iran’s most powerful figure, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamene’ie has said that in the face of aggression from the United States or Israel, Iran will attack to defend itself.

“We do not have nuclear weapons and we will not build them but in the face of aggression from the enemies, whether from America or the Zionist regime, to defend ourselves we will attack on the same level as the enemies attack us,” Khamene’ie said live on television.

‘Pakistan Today’, too, reported that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamene’ie, has warned that his country would hit back at any attack by the United States or Israel.

But if there is any attack by the enemies, whether it would be United States or the Zionist regime, we will attack them back at the same level as they attack us,” he said in a live televised speech to mark the start of the Iranian new year.

The Daily ‘Express Tribune’ quoted Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamene’ie as saying, “The Americans are making a grave mistake if they think by making threats they will destroy the Iranian nation”.

“We do not have nuclear weapons and we will not build them but in the face of aggression from the enemies, whether from America or the Zionist regime, to defend ourselves we will attack on the same level as the enemies attack us,” Khamene’ie said live on television.

Teh Daily ‘Business Recorder’ said that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamene’ie has warned that his country would hit back at any attack by the United States or Israel.

Khamene’ie, who was speaking in the northeastern city of Mash’had, said that Iran had a divine right to retaliate if struck.

Also the ‘Daily Times’ quoted Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamene’ie as saying, “despite all the animosity, all the propaganda, all the hostile attacks and ill-wishes, the Iranian nation last year was able to show its innovation and readiness in all aspects of scientific, social, political and economic endeavours.”

If Iran boosts its economy, “the enemy (the west) will despair and its efforts to plot and conspire against us will end,” Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamene’ie said in Iran’s northeastern religious city of Mash’had after the beginning of the Iranian New Year 1391.

Local daily ‘Nawe-i-Waqt’, too, in its headline said that ‘Iran says will hit back at any attack by Israel, US.’ Nawe-i-Waqt also quoted Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamene’ie as saying, ‘Iran had a divine right to retaliate if struck.’

Dunya TV channel said that Iran’s Supreme Leader has warned that Iran would hit back at any attack by US or Israel.

Daily ‘Jinnah’ said that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamene’ie has warned, ‘We have said that we do not have atomic weapons and we will not build any. But if there is any attack by the enemies, whether it eould be United States or the Zionist regime, we will attack them at the same level as they attack us.’
