Syrian Army seizes large cache of weapons in Homs

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) seized another large cache of weapons that were left behind by the jihadist rebels in the northern countryside of the Homs Governorate recently.

According to a military communique from the Homs province, the Syrian Arab Army seized a large stockpile of weapons inside the towns of Talbiseh and Taldo on Sunday morning.

The communique said the Syrian Arab Army uncovered this weapons stockpile while combing through these aforementioned towns inside the Homs Governorate’s northern countryside.

Inside this weapons cache was a large a stockpile of explosives, thermal missiles, anti-aircraft machine guns, 23mm machine guns, sniper rifles, and several ammunition boxes.

While the jihadist rebels have been gone from northern Homs for several weeks, their old bases and warehouses are still being uncovered by the Syrian Arab Army, who are poised to clear these areas by the Summer months.
