The war-torn city of Beit-Hanoun witnessed horrific times last summer. Eight months ago, many families were killed and hundreds fled their homes under Israeli bombardment. Nonetheless, one family in Beit-Hnaoun still endures the consequences of the war, with great suffering and limitless fear. The Nassir family lives in their partly destroyed house, while there’s an unexploded Israeli F-16 missile right beneath it.

Some construction workers have decided to help the unfortunate family. They are using pickaxes & hoes to track & locate the unexploded missile. These workers are the only ones who have offered actual help to end this family’s nightmare.

Nassirs are forced to stay in this house as they can’t afford another accommodation. The family had to do limited repair works to protect the children from the cruel winter. But the house is still in no condition for people to live in.

Unexploded Israeli missiles, bombs and artillery shells have littered vast areas of Gaza. Months after Israel’s weeks-long war, the Palestinians in Gaza are still worried about their lives with these silent killers living next to them.
