Israeli reservist confessed to the detonation of UN offices in Gaza
In a recent interview, an Israeli reservist acknowledged that his unit has participated in the demolition of mosques and United Nations facilities within the Gaza Strip.

In a recorded interview with American investigative journalist Jeremy Loffredo, the reservist disclosed, “We underwent a month of training before entering Gaza.”
He detailed his unit’s mission, stating that their objective involved targeting and destroying structures including residential homes, mosques, and United Nations offices.
He recalled an incident where they infiltrated a United Nations office responsible for assisting families impacted by the conflict in Gaza, stating, “We ended up demolishing it.”
In a notable development, Loffredo shared an interview on his X platform, previously known as Twitter, a mere 24 hours following declarations from the Israeli military denying any attacks on United Nations facilities in Gaza.
On March 19, the Israeli Defense Forces officially stated that allegations concerning an attack on the United Nations facility in Deir al-Balah were unfounded, asserting that the military did not carry out any strike on the location.
On the same day, two United Nations guesthouses in Deir al-Balah were hit, leading to the tragic death of a staff member from the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and causing injuries to five additional individuals.
The United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, has conveyed his profound shock and deep sorrow in response to the incident.
A spokesperson for the Secretary-General expressed profound sadness and shock following the death of a staff member from the United Nations Office for Project Services. The tragic incident occurred when two UN guesthouses in Deir al Balah were targeted in strikes, as outlined in an official statement.
The coordinates of all United Nations facilities are well-documented and acknowledged by the involved conflict parties, who are obligated under international law to safeguard these sites and respect their complete inviolability.
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and highlighted that the death toll of UN personnel in Gaza has reached over 280 since October 7, 2023.
Hamas, the resistance movement operating from Gaza, denounced the recent Israeli assault, describing it as a “blatant breach of international humanitarian law.” The group characterized the attack as a component of Israel’s ongoing strategy of targeting civilians and aid workers.
The group has condemned the Israeli administration, accusing it of attempting to intimidate relief workers and exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. They stated that hundreds of UNRWA and aid workers have already lost their lives amid what they describe as the ongoing Israeli actions in Gaza.
The Government Media Office in Gaza has condemned the Israeli strike on a United Nations facility, describing it as an intentional effort to hinder the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The office has issued a statement alleging that this act of violence is part of a strategic effort aimed at disrupting UN and humanitarian bodies from executing their responsibilities in aiding the Palestinian population.
The call has been made for the United Nations to take firm measures and initiate an immediate international investigation aimed at holding the Israeli regime accountable.
