Nigerian Government-backed, armed, financed Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria pledge allegiance to ISIL

Boko Haram’s twitter account says the Nigerian terrorists have pledged allegiance to ISIL Takfiri terrorist groups.

According to Press TV, the announcement was made in an audio file uploaded to the account, purportedly belonging to the group’s leader, Abubakar Shekau.

Boko Haram was quoted as saying “We announce our allegiance to the Caliph … and will hear and obey in times of difficulty and prosperity.”

The ISIL terrorists have declared formation of a so-called Islamic caliphate or state in northern Iraq to rule the territories under their control in the crisis-hit country and the neighboring Syria.

The eight-minute recording was accompanied with an image of a radio microphone along with Arabic, French, and English subtitles.

Unlike most of Boko Haram’s messages, this time Shekau is not seen.

Boko Haram, whose name means “Western education is forbidden,” controls parts of northeastern Nigeria and says its goal is to overthrow the Nigerian government.
