Iran steadfast in supporting oppressed people: Commander

The US, its allies and some reactionary countries in the region are speaking of imposing sanction and threats against Iran, but they should be aware that they will not be able to harm Iran, Major General Mohammad Baqeri said on Friday.

The enemies’ sanctions against Iran as a country that is bestowed by the divine blessings will not work, and the sinister enemies will be disappointed, the commander said.

Saying that ‘the childish alliances’ cannot add to the lifetime of the Zionist regime of Israel, the general said that the peoples in the region have seen and heard of all the plans and promises of the West on development, and they know that the Takfiri groups in the region were the products of the Western development.

‘At the same time, they have also experienced support of Iran and the sacrifices the people of the region made to obtain freedom of their own nations,’ he said.
