North Korea urges the United States to cease its military provocations
According to state media reports on Saturday, a North Korean defense ministry official stated that the United States should cease military threats if it is genuinely concerned about the security of its mainland.
The Korean Central News Agency has disclosed that the commander of the United States Northern Command recently issued remarks regarding the capability of North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missiles to strike the US mainland.
The report alleged that the United States has been involved in provocative actions, including organizing military exercises with South Korea and deploying a nuclear-powered submarine to the Korean Peninsula.
The report further stated that enhancing self-defense capabilities falls within North Korea’s sovereign rights.
