Notorious Saudi terrorist commander stabbed to death in southern Aleppo

A high ranking jihadist commander was assassinated in the southern countryside of Aleppo this week after an agent from the so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) carried out a knife attack.

According to reports, the Saudi commander of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, “Abu ‘Obeidah Al-Jazrawi”, was stabbed to death by the Daesh member as the former was traveling through the southern countryside of Aleppo.

Opposition activists reported that the Saudi jihadist commander was stabbed at least 50 times by an unknown assailant; however, Daesh would later claim responsibility for this attack on the Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham leader.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Daesh have been trading attacks in northwestern Syria for several weeks now; this exchange has resulted in the death of a number of combatants, including many HTS commanders.
